Las fiestas de fundación de Coamo, which have been taking place for over four decades, will commemorate the 445th anniversary of the town’s founding in 2024. Coamo was founded in 1579 to provide religious services to its residents, upon the request of the San Juan Cathedral. Driven by locals and the municipality, this event has become a cherished tradition celebrating the rich history of the town and its patron saint, San Blas.
