Rescate Costero is FirstBank’s program designed to help mitigate coastal erosion. During the event, native tree species such as sea grape, icaco, and buttonwood mangrove will be planted. These trees are tolerant to coastal climates and help stabilize sand dunes, creating a natural barrier to prevent soil loss from erosion.
